Shambhala Buddhism Sourcebook
$25.00
This sourcebook is a compilation of comments made by the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche in comparing and contrasting Buddhist and Shambhala teachings. Excerpts from a wide variety of talks and discussions are first arranged topically, grouped under the broad categories of the similarities between Shambhala and buddhadharma, their differences, and their inseparability. Then, the same quotations are rearranged chronologically so that the evolution of the Vidyadhara’s comments become more apparent.
This volume also includes the last seminar on this topic given by the Vidyadhara, “Realizing Enlightened Society” (February 1986, Karme Chöling) and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche’s essay on “Shambhala Buddhism” (May 2000).
