Ann Helm
A long–time student of Chögyam Trungpa, Ann joined the Nalanda Translation Committee in 1986. She studied Tibetan at Naropa University, mainly with Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche, and she taught Tibetan at Naropa from 1991-2000.
After 30 years in Boulder, Ann now lives at Padma Samye Ling, the retreat center in upstate New York of Khenchen Palden Sherab and Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal. These days she primarily translates short practice texts by Tsasum Lingpa, Jamgön Mipham Gyatso, and holders of the Longchen Nyingtik lineage. These texts are available through the online Chiso Shop, and are published by Dharma Samudra, the publishing arm of the Padmasambhava Buddhist Centers. She also translates with Ringu Tulku. A complete list of her translations are on the Rangjung Yeshe Wikipedia at rywiki.tsadra.org/index.php/Ann_Helm.
